Shri Deshmukh, Khetra Sanghchalak while addressing the gathering mentioned that late Dwarakacharyulu belonged to that rare category of people who exhibited great leadership qualities and moulded swayamsevaks, showed direction and exercisedtremendous impact on them by inculcating qualities of service and dedication.  He also recalled the great service rendered by late Dwarakacharyulu in massive construction work and rehabilitation of thousands of people suffered due to cyclone in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh during 1977. He was instrumental in construction of Deendayalpuram village to provide homes to those rendered homeless during hurricane by overcoming several difficulties.

ShriVidwan Reddy, a senior RSS functionarywhile addressing recalled how Dwarakacharyuluji used to express his desire to be born again and again in India to serve. Due to his efforts there were several community lunches well attended which helped in bringing people together.  ShriGaneshlal a V.H.P.leader recalled his association with him and said the real tribute to late Dwarakacharyulu will be to follow the path shown by him. Dr.A.Subrahmanyam a senior functionary of R.S.S. who earlier briefed the audience and introduced the speakers on the dais recalled his association with him and read out a letter which Dwarakacharyuluji wrote to Vanavasibandhus (tribal relatives) asking for excuse for any mistakes committed by him while ensuring proper welfare to them.

Shri Ramesh Babu a senior functionary of RSS engaged in activities in North Eastern Region, explained about the great work carried out by late Dwarkacharyulu through Vanavasikalyanashram for the betterment of tribal people in Arunachalapradesh, Tripura and Nagaland. He worked with dedication to stop the conversions to Christianity and helped in strengthening the cause of Hindus and actively worked in tandem with Ramakrishna Mission and Vivekananda Kendra to achieve our goal. He played a major role in strengthening our activities in North-Eastern Region by bringing all forces on one United Hindu Platform.  ShriM.Y.V.Rama Murthy a Sanghacitivist from Kurnool narrated his experiences with late Dwarakacharyulu and admired his organising skills and recalled how he worked during Guruji’s visit to Kurnool town and subsequently arranging a big festival which was largely attended. Dr.Surender Reddy looking after ArogyaBharathi activities of the Sangh in Andhra Pradesh recalled his association when late Dwarakaji was pracharak of Hyderabad old city and had the chance of getting trained both by him and Satheji.

ShriSomayajulu, all India Organising Secretary, VanavasiKalyanashram, narrated that correct seed of Hindu consolidation was planted by late Dwarakaji in places like Bastar in Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh.He did pioneering work in Arunachal Pradesh like stopping religious conversions and getting 450 temples built where good number of locals used to participate in prayers which resulted in changing their mind-set towards spirituality.

A message received from Shri Bhayyaji Joshi, Sarkaryavah of R.S.S was read out by Shri A.Subrahmanyam in which he lauded the valiant efforts of late Dwarakacharyulu in every activity that he carried out  like dedicated work in VanavasiKalyanashram, Hindu consolidation in North-Eastern Region, rebuilding of cyclone effected  village in Andhra Pradesh and training of several RSS Karyakartas. ShriBhayyaji Joshi said that he led an ideal life worth emulation by others and conveyed his heart-felt condolences on the bereavement.  ShriDusi Ramakrishna KhetraKaryavah told that he was much benefited from the training received from late Dwarakaji like working with dedication and determination.

ShriBandaruDattatreya, former Central Minister and BJP leader while speaking talked about the close relationship he had with late Dwarkacharyulu and admired his service activities carried out with precision and recalled the great work done by him while building Deendayalpuram with full Vastu in cyclone affected village. He was a good thinker, a good planner, and a good organiser, ShriDattatreya said.  ShriT.Hanumath Prasad sang a song composed by him in memory of late Dwarakacharyulu.

ShriBhagaiah, all India BouddhikPramukh of R.S.S. while speaking called late Dwarakaji as an all-sided personality who made impossible things as possible. His contribution in building of Deendayalpuram in Krishna District, Madhavnagar near Machilipatnam and Keshavpuri in Guntur District stand testimony to his foresightedness. During 1968 SanghSikshavarg, his participation in Ghosh through Aanak(musical instrument) was a treat to watch. Being greatly impressed with his rehabilitation work in cyclone effected areas of Krishna District, ShriYadavarao Joshi the then KhetraPracharak sent him to Arunachal Pradesh where firstly  he took up the work in VanavasiKalyanashram and taught procedure of worship to the local people there. When he fell suddenly ill in a Baithak, he got injury to his head and lost consciousness and was operated upon in Calcutta. Though recovered initially, he again became sick and could not recover really and end came on 30^th May at Hyderabad. But he never lost his mental balance and was alert mentally despite worsening physical health. So strong was his will power.

टीम क्लीमा नाम के वैज्ञानिक दल का दावा है कि गाय के गोबर और फार्म में पैदा होने वाले दूसरे कचरे से बनने वाली मीथेन गैस को प्लेन में बतौर ईंधन इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है. मॉडल के मुताबिक, इस गैस को खूब ठंडा करके एक खास किस्म के सांचे में भर दिया जाएगा. इसे प्लेन के इंजन के साथ फिट किया जाएगा. यहां से इंजन की जरूरत के मुताबिक ईंधन की सप्लाई होती रहेगी.

मगर अभी इस मॉडल में एक दिक्कत भी है. दरअसल, प्लेन उड़ाने के लिए जितने ईंधन की जरूरत है, उसके हिसाब से गोबर की कमी पड़ जाएगी. इस वैकल्पिक ईंधन पर काम करने वाले बताते हैं कि एक गाय सालभर में जितना गोबर देती है, उससे 70 गैलन ईंधन तैयार किया जा सकता है.

लंदन से न्यूयॉर्क जाने वाली फ्लाइट का उदाहरण लें तो साढ़े तीन हजार मील की दूरी तय करने वाली इस फ्लाइट के लिए हवाई जहाज को 17,500 गैलन ईंधन चाहिए. इस तरह मौजूदा दर से देखें, तो 1 हजार गाय तीन महीने में जितना गोबर करेंगी, उससे पैदा हुई गैस इस एक फ्लाइट में बतौर ईंधन खर्च हो जाएगी. इसलिए फिलहाल साइंटिस्ट इस तरह के प्रयोग कर रहे हैं, जिसमें कम से कम गोबर से ज्यादा से ज्यादा गैस यानी ईंधन प्रॉड्यूस किया जा सके.

यदि ये प्रयोग सफल रहा, तो पर्यावरण के लिए भी बेहतर होगा. क्लीमा टीम का आकलन है कि गोबर से बनने वाला ईंधन कार्बन-डाईऑक्साइड का बनना 97 फीसदी तक कम कर सकता है.

मीथेन का प्लेन उड़ाने के लिए बतौर ईंधन पहली मर्तबा इस्तेमाल होगा, लेकिन अमेरिका में खेती में काम आने वाले कई वाहन इसी तरह के ईंधन से चलते हैं. इसका प्रोसेस बहुत सरल होता है. गाय-भैंस के गोबर और फार्म पर पैदा होने वाले दूसरे कचरे को एक टैंक में स्टोर किया जाता है. सूरज की रौशनी पड़ने के बाद इस टैंक में मीथेन गैस पैदा होती है, जिसका इस्तेमाल ईंधन के तौर पर किया जाता है.

It looks so odd to know that it has been more than six decades since the establishment of Pakistan, no doubt Pakistan was made for Muslims but as citizen of Pakistan rights are equal to majority and minority. Minorities in Pakistan belong to several religions which includes; Hinduism, Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism, Jewism and Ahmadis. As per the current census by Election Commission of Pakistan it is reported that there is majority of Hindus in Pakistan of the total minority. These Hindus are further divided into two major classes’ i.e. Upper Caste and Lower Castes Hindus. Upper caste Hindus is group of several communities having lots of money and has the ability to purchase whatever they wish. These upper caste are only 15% of the total Hindus population in Pakistan. Lower caste Hindus are commonly known as Scheduled Caste Hindus or Dalits in Pakistan. Dalits is a group of 42 castes with low income and low purchasing power. Dalits comprise 85% of the total Hindus population. Dalit community in Pakistan is the most vulnerable of the minority.

In Pakistan Sindh province is the only province with majority of Hindus. Dalits abode in every district and every village of this province. These Dalit is the most neglected community in every sector i.e Education, Health, Employment etc. Education is the basic right for every child but Dalit children are neglected of it. Dalits relate themselves to agriculture workforce due to lack of education. Literacy rate of Dalits as per a report of International Dalit Solidarity Network is only 16% out of which 0% is post graduate, only 1% is graduate. Majority of Dalit students have to leave their education between primary and middle because of low income of their parents. These children have to work with their parents to earn some money for two times food a day. The study of many children is affected during drought in Tharparkar when they have to move towards other areas of Sindh for earning some money for food and other necessities.

Government of Pakistan inaugurates several programs for education and health. Unfortunately these programs are not started well due to corruption at a highest level. Somewhere these programs are started but do not work well due to mismanagement. Before the start of 7th decade to the establishment of Pakistan it was hard to admit Dalit children at private schools in areas with upper caste dominancy, Dalit children were refused each year saying “No vacant seat available” which was available for upper caste students anytime. In government schools there is no system of education i.e, if students arrives then teacher is absent from school. Teachers do not come to school because they are prohibited to go to schools by Landlords of these respective villages. Teachers also don’t go to school because there is no check and balance system of either a teacher is coming to school or not. They get their salaries at the end of month even if they not join school a single day.

There are some schools operated in Rural areas of Sindh by national and international NGOs, these schools play a vital role for the development and education of children as they teach and motivate children to studies and parents to let them learn. Schools operated by NGOs are only to primary level which students pass and try to study further but unfortunately after middle its hard for majority students to continue their studies due to fees. As per IDSN report out of these 16% only two 4% hardly reach to Matric and only 2% to Higher Secondary Schools.

A survey conducted by Pakistan Hindu Seva in 2011-2012 says that Scheduled caste Hindus (Dalits) in majority does not let their girls to study even to primary schools as they say there is insecurity for teaching girls i.e, whenever they go to schools they become a part of society and are abducted without any fault who are then converted to some other religion. Some of the respondents in that survey also said that they don’t let their girls study because they work to collect grass for their livestock.

In Pakistan parliament approve thousands of programs for Health, Education and poverty reduction during each span of their reign but none of the program specifically focuses the issues of Dalits. It is therefore too hard for Dalits to survive, and to get education, health facility and employment etc. Due to low literacy rate Dalits face problems for basic human rights which includes bonded labor, a seta in the bus, behavior of people at public spots etc. It is found that at many places Dalits are provided work of sanitation even they are primary or middle passed. There has been a revolution after the end of 20th century which eliminated discrimination worldwide but could not effect my country. Government must know that minorities are a valuable asset to this state as they are dwelling there before the establishment of Pakistan, as a citizen of Pakistan it is their right to get complete and free education, good health facility at hospitals, proper freedom and employment as per their eligibility.

ತುಕ್ಕು ಹಿಡಿಯಿತೇ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ?

ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಯೇ ನಾಚಿ ತಲೆತಗ್ಗಿಸುವಂತಾಗಿದೆಯೆ? ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ ತುಕ್ಕು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆಯೆ? ಮನುಷ್ಯ – ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ನಡುವಣ ಸಂಬಂಧಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥವೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ? ಇಂತಹ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಲೋಕಿಸಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡತೊಡಗಿವೆ. ಬಹುಶಃ ಇಂತಹದೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಕಾಡಿರಬಹುದು.

ಆಕೆ ಸುಂದರಿ. ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಮಾವತಿ. ಬಿ.ಕಾಂ. ಪದವೀಧರೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೊತ್ತಿಗಾಗಲೇ ಗಂಡನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಾಗಿ ಬದುಕು ಸಾಗಿಸಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗಳು. ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತವರು ಮತ್ತು ಒಡಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರೇ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿ, ಕಳೆದ ೪ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಗೃಹಬಂಧಿಯಾಗಿ ನರಕಯಾತನೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತು. ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಧರಿಸಲೊಂದು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲಾಗಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಗಲು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಾಲ ಕಳೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಆಕೆಯದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಲಗಿದಲ್ಲೇ ಮಲ-ಮೂತ್ರ ವಿಸರ್ಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯಿದ್ದ ಕೊಠಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ವಾಸನೆ ಆವರಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಗೋ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಸಂಘವೊಂದರ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿ, ಪೊಲೀಸರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ ಯುವತಿಯ ಕರುಣಾಜನಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಬಯಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವುದು ಯಾವುದೋ ಹಳ್ಳಿ ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಲ್ಲ. (ಅಲ್ಲೂ ಅಂತಹ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಅಕ್ಷಮ್ಯ) ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಲ್ಲೇಶ್ವರ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ೧೭ನೇ ಅಡ್ಡರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಿರುವ ರೇಣುಕಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಪುಟ್ಟಗೌರಮ್ಮ ಎಂಬವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆಯಿದು. ಹೇಮಾವತಿಗೆ ಈಗ ೩೫ರ ಹರೆಯ. ಆಕೆಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದಂತೆ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಗೃಹಬಂಧನದಲ್ಲಿಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸರಿಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕೆ ಕೂಗಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅನುಮಾನಗೊಂಡ ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದವರು ತಂದೆ ರೇಣುಕಪ್ಪನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಮಜಾಯಿಷಿ ನೀಡಿ ನುಣುಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಸಂಘದ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಘಟನೆ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಸ್ಥಿತಿವಂತ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಶಾಲಾ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಓದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದೆ. ಹೇಮಾವತಿಗೆ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರನೆಂಬ ತಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬಿ.ಕಾಂ.ನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಗೆಳತಿಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಚಾರ್ಟೆರ್ಡ್ ಅಕೌಂಟೆಂಟ್ ಬಳಿ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಳು. ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು ಪಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗಾಗ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಅವರು ವೃಥಾ ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ಆಕೆ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ: ‘ನಾನೇನು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿzನೆ?’ ಆಕೆ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳೆ? ಆಕೆಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸರಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದೇನೋ ನಿಜ. ೪ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು. ಅನಂತರ ಏನಾಯ್ತು ಎಂಬುದು ಹೇಮಾವತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ. ೪ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದೇ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಿರುವುದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆಕೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ. ಒಂದೇ ಕಡೆ ಸತತವಾಗಿ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ಕೈಕಾಲು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲುಬು ಸವೆದಿದೆ. ಈಗ ನಿಮಾನ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆಕೆಗೆ ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಆದರೆ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಸಮಯ ಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ವೈದ್ಯರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯೇ ಬೇಕು.

ಹೇಮಾವತಿಯ ತಂದೆ ರೇಣುಕಪ್ಪ ಬಡವರೇನಲ್ಲ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲೇ ೨-೩ ಕಡೆ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ತಿಂಗಳೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬಾಡಿಗೆಯೂ ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿ ಅವರದ್ದಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿರುಕು ಬಿಟ್ಟ , ಬಣ್ಣ ಮಾಸಿದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಭೂತಬಂಗಲೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಮನೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಅವರ ಮನೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದಾಗ ರೇಣುಕಪ್ಪ ವ್ಯಗ್ರರಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಡುವೆ ಮನೆಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಂದಿ ಹೇಮಾವತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲಕರು ಈ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ದೂಡಲು ಪ್ರೇಮ ಪ್ರಕರಣವೇ ಕಾರಣವೆಂದು  ಷರಾ ಬರೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ! ಪಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದೂ ಆರೋಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜಾಂಶವೆಷ್ಟು ಎಂಬುದು ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಾದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗೊತ್ತಾದೀತು. ಪ್ರೇಮ ಪ್ರಕರಣವೇ ಇರಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಇನ್ನೇನೇ ಕಾರಣವಿರಲಿ, ಪದವೀಧರೆಯಾದ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಕೀಳಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಕರು ಈ ಪರಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಪಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವ ಇದೆಯೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ? ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಕೊಡಿಸುವುದು ಪಾಲಕರ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಲ್ಲವೆ?

ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ವಿಚಿತ್ರವಾದುದು. ಇಡೀ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ರೂಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಡಿಪಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಲ್ಕೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ನೆಲೆ ಕೂಡ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಇಳಿವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಿ ಸರಪಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಹಿಂಸೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ ಘಟನೆ. ಇದು ಕೂಡ ನಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಅದೇ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬನಶಂಕರಿ ಬಳಿಯ ಮನೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ. ಬನಶಂಕರಿಯ ಶಾಕಾಂಬರಿ ನಗರ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಅನಂತರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (೯೩) ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಗ-ಸೊಸೆಯಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರಹಿಂಸೆ ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ದುರ್ದೈವಿ. ಅನಂತರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ೩೦ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಲ್ಲರೆ ಅಂಗಡಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಅದು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಶಾಕಾಂಬರಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವೇಶನ ಖರೀದಿಸಿ ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ೨ನೇ ಮಗ ಸುರೇಶ್‌ನ ಜೀವನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ಪ್ರಾವಿಶನ್ ಸ್ಟೋರ್ ಕೂಡ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಪತ್ನಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಬಳಿಕ ೨ನೇ ಮಗನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಪರ್ದಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಬಂದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಗ-ಸೊಸೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಲ ಕಸಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕೀಳಾಗಿ ಕಾಣತೊಡಗಿದ್ದರು. ಹೊತ್ತು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಊಟವನ್ನೇ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಸಿವು ತಡೆಯಲಾರದೆ ಈ ವೃದ್ಧ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲ ಜನರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಹಣ, ಊಟ ಬೇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವಿಷಯ ಅರಿತ ಮಗ ಸುರೇಶ್ ‘ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ತೆಗೀತೀಯಾ’ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಾಡಿ, ಕಟ್ಟಡದ ೩ನೇ ಮಹಡಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದೊಯ್ದು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ೨ ನೀರಿನ ಸಿಂಟೆಕ್ಸ್ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ಗಳ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸಣ್ಣ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಸರಪಣಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ. ಕಳೆದ ೬ ತಿಂಗಳಿಂದ ವೃದ್ಧ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದರು. ಇನ್ನೂ ಮೂರ‍್ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಹಿರಿಯ ಜೀವ ನಿದ್ರಾಹಾರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇನೋ… ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲೀಜು ಮಾಡ್ತೀನಿಂತ ಬೈಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಗ-ಸೊಸೆ ಮಹಡಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಗ್ಗ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ಆ ವೃದ್ಧ ಪೊಲೀಸರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ವೇಳೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಗ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳುವುದೇ ಬೇರೆ ‘ಎಲ್ಲೆಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗುಳಿ ಮನೆಯೆಲ್ಲ ಗಲೀಜು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಬೀದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಭಿಕ್ಷೆ ಬೇಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಟೆರೇಸ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆ ಮಲಗಲು ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಊಟ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು’. ಮಗ ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ಮಾತು ನಿಜವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದಾಗ ‘ನೀನ್ಯಾರೋ ಕೇಳೋಕೆ?’ ಎಂದು ಜಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದಾದರೂ ಏಕೆ? ತನ್ನ ೪ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಜೀವನ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡುವ ಉಪಕಾರ ಇದೇನಾ? ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕ ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಬಾಳಿ ಬದುಕುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವೆ?

ತಂದೆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲೆಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಗುಳಿ ಗಲೀಜು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ. ಆದರೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕೆ? ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಕ್ಕು, ನಾಯಿ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಾಕು ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು ಗಲೀಜು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆ? ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಯಾರೂ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಲವರಂತೂ ಸಾಕು ನಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ ದುಬಾರಿ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಯಿಸುವುದುಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಿ, ಪೋಷಿಸಿ, ಬದುಕು ರೂಪಿಸಿ, ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ನೆಲೆ ಕೂಡ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಿಗಿಂತ ಕೀಳಾಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆಂದರೆ… ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯತ್ವ ಇದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಾದರೂ ಹೇಗೆ?

ಮಾವನಿಂದ ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಳಿಯ ಕಳೆದ ೩ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ದನದ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕಾದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿರುವುದು ರಾಣೆಬೆನ್ನೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಬೇಲೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ. ೪೮ರ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಹನುಮಂತಪ್ಪ ಭರಮಪ್ಪ ಕ್ಯಾತಪ್ಪನವರ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ಅಸಭ್ಯವಾಗಿ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನೆನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಬೇಸತ್ತ ಆತನ ಮಾವ ತನ್ನ ಜಮೀನಿನ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ. ಸದ್ಯ ಈಗ ಆತ ಬಂಧಮುಕ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನಿಗೆ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ಹುಚ್ಚಾಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತಂತೆ. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದನದ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಸಮಂಜಸ?

ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಮೀಪದ ಗ್ರಾಮವೊಂದರಿಂದ ನನಗೊಂದು ಪತ್ರ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆ ಪತ್ರ  ಬರೆದವಳು ಮೆಹಬೂಬ ಎಂಬ ಪದವೀಧರೆ ಯುವತಿ. ಬಡತನದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೆಳೆದ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ತಂದೆ-ತಾಯಿ ಸಮಾಜದ ಚುಚ್ಚು ನುಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆದರದೆ ಪದವಿವರೆಗೂ ಓದಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರೊಬ್ಬರು ಮದುವೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪ ತೆಗೆದು ಆಕೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮೊಟಕುಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾದರು. ಮದುವೆಯಂತೂ ಆಯ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಎಂಥವನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ? ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕೊಠಡಿಯನ್ನೇ ಕಾಣದ, ಎದೆ ಸೀಳಿದರೂ ಎರಡಕ್ಷರವಿರದ, ಆದರೆ ಸಭ್ಯನ ಮುಖವಾಡ ಧರಿಸಿದ ಆತ ಚತುರ ಮಾತುಗಾರನಾಗಿ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದ. ಆದರೆ ಆತನೊಬ್ಬ ಸ್ಯಾಡಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮನೋಭಾವದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದರಿವಾಗಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲ ಬೇಕಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಡಿತದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಸಭ್ಯವರ್ತನೆ, ಅಶ್ಲೀಲ ಮಾತುಗಳು… ಇದರಿಂದ ನೊಂದ ಮೆಹಬೂಬ ಕೊನೆಗೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ತಲಾಖ್ ನೀಡಿ ಇದೀಗ ಅರ್ಧಕ್ಕೇ ನಿಂತ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಆಕೆಯ ಬಯಕೆ.

‘ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರುಷ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯಲು ಇನ್ನೂ ನೂರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಬೇಕಾದೀತು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಯಾವ ಪುರುಷ ಕೂಡ ತನಗಿಂತಲೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಹೊಂದುವುದಾಗಲಿ, ಯಜಮಾನಿಕೆ ತೋರುವುದಾಗಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ… ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಕುಟುಂಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಅನ್ನಬೇಕೋ ಅಥವಾ ಅದರಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಬೇಕೋ ಎಂಬುದೇ ಅರಿವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ… ಮೂಢನಂಬಿಕೆ, ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳ ಕೊಂಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನರಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಎಂದೂ ಕೂಡ ತನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಉzಶಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಕುರ್ ಆನ್ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಗ್ರಂಥ ಎಂದು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ನಡೆಯಿತೆ ಹೊರತು ಅದನ್ನೆಂದೂ ಅರ್ಥವರಿತು ಓದಲು, ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ…’ ಮೆಹಬೂಬ ಅವಳ ಪತ್ರ ಹೀಗೇ ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೆಹಬೂಬ ತನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟಿರಬಹುದು, ಆಕೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹೊಂಗನಸುಗಳು ಅದೆಷ್ಟು ಛಿದ್ರವಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದು ಈ ಪತ್ರದ ಸಾಲುಗಳಿಂದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ.

ತನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಯುವತಿಯರು ಇಂತಹ ನರಕಸದೃಶ ಶೋಷಣೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತನ್ನ ಈ ಪತ್ರದ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಮೂಲಕ  ಅಂಥವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಸಿಗಬಹುದೇನೋ ಎಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಮೆಹಬೂಬ ಈ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿರಬಹುದು.

ಅದೆಷ್ಟು  ಯೋಚಿಸಿದರೂ ಒಂದಂತೂ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಮನುಷ್ಯನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರಾಣಿ ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ. ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಿದೆ. ಬೇರೆ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಆತನಿಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಎನ್ನುವುದು. ದಯೆ, ಕರುಣೆ, ಅನುಕಂಪ, ಸ್ನೇಹ, ಆರ್ದ್ರತೆ, ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ, ಔದಾರ್ಯ, ಪರೋಪಕಾರ ಮನೋಭಾವ… ಮುಂತಾದ ಗುಣಗಳಿರುವುದು ಆತ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಎಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ. ವಯಸ್ಸು ಮಾಗಿದಂತೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಗಳು ವಿಕಾಸವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಒಂದು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪದವೀಧರೆಯಾದ ಮಗಳನ್ನೇ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಲ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ತಂದೆ, ನೆಲೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟ ವೃದ್ಧ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೇ ಸರಪಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕುವ ನಿಷ್ಕರುಣಿ ಮಗ, ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನೆಂಬ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಳಿಯನನ್ನು ದನದ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕುವ ಕ್ರೂರಿ ಮಾವ, ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಹದ್ದುಬಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಯಸುವ ಅವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತ ಸ್ಯಾಡಿಸ್ಟ್ ಗಂಡ… ಇಂತಹ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಾರದ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಲೇ ಇವೆ. ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು ಅರಳಬೇಕಾದ ಮನೆಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಲವರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ನರಕವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಲೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೇನೋ ಎಂಬ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆಗೆ ತುಕ್ಕು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆಯೆ? ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಶಯ ನಿಮಗೂ ಬಂದಿರಬಹುದು!

ರಾಯಚೂರು: ಲಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ನ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿ ವಿಭಾಗ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ ಗಣೇಶ ಕಾಮತ್(44) ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರ ಜೊತೆ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಇತರರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के केन्द्रीय मार्गदर्शक मण्डल की दो दिवसीय बैठक आज प्रात: कच्छी आश्रम, सप्त सरोवर में आरंभ हुई। बैठक का उदघाटन निवर्तमान शंकराचार्य पूज्य म0म0 सत्यमित्रानंद जी महाराज एवं विहिप के कार्याध्यक्ष डॉ0 प्रवीणभाई तोगड़िया, अशोकराव चौगुले के द्वारा हुआ। सत्र की अध्यक्षता ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर ज0गु0 शंकराचार्य वासुदेवानंद सरस्वती जी महाराज ने की।

द्वितीय सत्र दोपहर 3 बजे से प्रारंभ हुआ, जिसकी अध्यक्षता जगद्गुरू रामानंदाचार्य रामभद्राचार्य जी ने की। बैठक की प्रस्तावना प्रस्तुत करते हुए विहिप के संरक्षक श्री अशोक जी सिंहल ने विस्तार से श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर निर्माण के इतिहास एवं वर्तमान परिस्थिति का वर्णन करते हुए पू0 संतों से अनुरोध किया कि अब समय आ गया है जब हमें निर्णायक संघर्ष करते हुए श्रीराम जन्मभूमि पर भव्य मंदिर निर्माण का संकल्प पूर्ण करना होगा। यदि आवश्यकता पडी तो इसके लिए ऐसी संसद का ही निर्माण क्यों न करना पडे जो राम मंदिर के लिए कानून पारित करने में जरा भी संकोच न करे। श्रीराम जन्मभूमि पर मंदिर निर्माण हेतु प्रस्ताव प्रस्तुत करते हुए परमार्थ आश्रम के परामाध्यक्ष भूतपूर्व गृह राज्यमंत्री स्वामी चिन्मयानंद जी महाराज ने कहा कि जब न्यायालय से यह सिध्द हो चुका है कि विवादित स्थल ही भगवान श्रीराम का जन्मभूमि है, जन्मभूमि स्वयं में देवता है, विवादित ढांचा हिन्दू धार्मिक स्थल पर इस्लाम के नियमों के विरूध्द बनाया गया था, मुस्लिम समाज की याचिका को खारिज कर दिया गया और यह सिध्द पाया गया कि एकमात्र रामलला ही संपूर्ण 70 एकड भूमि के मालिक हैं।

सरकार भी उच्चतम न्यायालय को दिए गए शपथ पत्र से प्रतिपध्द है कि यदि यह सिध्द हो जाता है कि विवादित स्थल पर कभी कोई मंदिर/हिन्दू उपासना स्थल था तो सरकार की कार्रवाई हिन्दू भावनाओं के अनुरूप होगी। अत: कोई कारण नहीं है कि मंदिर निर्माण में कोई विलम्ब हो। इस हेतु पूरी 70 एकड़ भूमि कानून बनाकर हिन्दू समाज को सौंपी जाए। प्रस्ताव में यह भी कहा गया कि मार्गदर्शक मण्डल की यह घोषणा है कि 84 कोस परिक्रमा की भूमि हिन्दू समाज के लिए पुण्य क्षेत्र है, हिन्दू समाज उसकी परिक्रमा करता है। संपूर्ण 84 कोस परिक्रमा के अंदर कोई भी इस्लामिक प्रतीक स्वीकार नहीं होगा। प्रस्ताव में यह भी कहा गया कि न्यायालय की लंबी प्रक्रिया के कारण शीघ्र निर्णय नहीं आ सकेगा, हिन्दू समाज शीघ्रातिशीघ्र मंदिर निर्माण चाहता है अत: सरकर से आग्रह है कि संसद के मानसून सत्र में ही कानून बनाकर अयोध्या में श्रीराम के भव्य मंदिर निर्माण की सभी बाधाएं दूर की जाएं। यदि यह मांग नहीं मानी गई तो हिन्दू समाज उग्र आन्दोलन करने को बाध्य होगा।

प्रस्ताव के प्रस्तुत होने के पश्चात देश के कोने-कोने से आए संत महानुभावों ने इस पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत करते हुए अपना यह स्पष्ट मत व्यक्त किया कि यदि सरकार मार्गदर्शक मण्डल द्वारा किए गए आग्रह को स्वीकार करके ठोस कदम नहीं उठाती है और मानसून सत्र तक कोई परिणाम सामने नहीं दिखाई देता तो हम सभी संतजन श्रीराम जन्मभूमि पर भव्य मंदिर निर्माण के लिए सब प्रकार का बलिदान देने के लिए तैयार हैं। इस हेतु पूरे देश में व्यापक जन जागरण अभियान चलाया जाए। अयोध्या के चारों ओर 84 कोस परिक्रमा क्षेत्र में और साथ ही साथ देश के गांव गांव तक व्यापक जन जागरण का अभियान चलाकर सरकार को बाध्य करनेवाला कदम उठाया जाए।

द्वितीय सत्र में विशेष रूप से उपस्थित हुए योगऋषि बाबा रामदेव जी ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि ये सत्ताएं बडी धोखेबाज और क्रूर होती हैं। हमें इस भ्रम में नहीं रहना चाहिए कि सत्ता अनुकूल हो जायेगी तो राम मंदिर का निर्माण हो जायेगा। सत्ता अनुकूल हो या प्रतिकूल हमें राम मंदिर बनाने का संकल्प लेकर आगे बढ़ना चाहिए। आंदोलन में सब प्रकार की हानियां होती ही हैं उनकी परवाह किए बगैर आगे बढना चाहिए और आंदोलन तब तक नहीं रूकना चाहिए जब तक कि राम मंदिर का निर्माण नहीं हो जाता। एकमत से सभी पूज्य संतों ने यह कहा कि राम मंदिर निर्माण के लिए जो भी कार्यक्रम और निर्णायक आंदोलन निश्चित किया जायेगा चाहे वह यात्रा के रूप में हो चाहे कूच के रूप में हो हर कीमत पर संत अपनी सभी प्राथमिकताएं छोडकर इस अभियान को सफल करेंगे।

विषय – अयोध्या में श्रीराम जन्मभूमि पर भव्य मंदिर निर्माण

      प्रयाग महाकुंभ 2013 के शुभ अवसर पर आयोजित विश्व हिन्दू परिषद के मार्गदर्शक मण्डल के पूजनीय संत-महात्माओं की बैठक में सर्वसम्मति से तय किया गया था कि पुण्य नगरी अयोध्या में विराजित भगवान श्रीरामलला का कपडों द्वारा निर्मित मंदिर संतों के साथ-साथ संपूर्ण हिन्दू समाज को शर्मसार कर रहा है। जनसमाज यथाशीघ्र भगवान के दर्शन भव्य मंदिर में करना चाहता है। प्रयाग महाकुंभ में संतों के विशाल सम्मेलन के अवसर पर जनसमाज के सामने मार्गदर्शक मण्डल के संतों ने विचार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा था कि इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय की लखनऊ पीठ के तीनों न्यायाधीशों ने एकमत से निर्णय दिया है कि–

1.     विवादित स्थल ही भगवान श्रीराम का जन्मस्थान है। जन्मभूमि स्वयं में देवता है और विधिक प्राणी है।

2.    विवादित ढांचा किसी हिन्दू धार्मिक स्थल पर बनाया गया था।

3.    विवादित ढांचा इस्लाम के नियमों के विरूध्द बना था, इसलिए वह मस्जिद का रूप नहीं ले सकता।

• विद्वान न्यायाधीशों ने मुस्लिमों द्वारा दायर याचिका को खारिज कर दिया था। इस प्रकार यह सिध्द कर दिया था कि एकमात्र रामलला ही 70 एकड़ भूमिखण्ड के मालिक हैं।
•  मार्गदर्शक मण्डल के निर्णय के अनुसार संत-महात्माओं का एक शिष्ट मण्डल महामहिम राष्ट्रपति से भेंट करने गया था। संतों ने राष्ट्रपति जी को एक ज्ञापन देते हुए कहा था कि भारत सरकार के अटार्नी जनरल ने 14 सितम्बर, 1994 को सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में एक शपथ पत्र देकर कहा था कि–’यदि यह सिध्द होता है कि विवादित स्थल पर पहले कभी कोई मन्दिर/हिन्दू उपासना स्थल था तो सरकार की कार्रवाई हिन्दू भावना के अनुसार होगी।’ अत: उच्च न्यायालय का निर्णय आने के बाद भारत सरकार की यह बाध्यता है कि वह अपने वचन का पालन करे और भारत सरकार 70 एकड़ भूमि मंदिर निर्माण हेतु हिन्दू समाज को शीघ्र कानून बनाकर सौंप दे।
• मार्गदर्शक मण्डल स्पष्ट रूप से घोषित करता है कि अयोध्या की 84 कोस परिक्रमा की भूमि हिन्दू समाज के लिए पुण्य क्षेत्र है। हिन्दू समाज पुण्य क्षेत्र की ही परिक्रमा करता है, इसलिए इस पुण्य क्षेत्र में हिन्दू समाज किसी भी प्रक ार के इस्लामिक प्रतीक को स्वीकार नहीं करेगा। यदि वहां कोई इस्लामिक प्रतीक बनाया गया तो वह बाबर के रूप में जाना जायेगा जिसके कारण हिन्दू-मुस्लिम विवाद हमेशा के लिए बना रहेगा।
• मार्गदर्शक मण्डल का यह सुविचारित मत है कि न्यायालयों की लम्बी प्रक्रिया से शीघ्र निर्णय नहीं आ सकेगा। इधर हिन्दू समाज रामलला को शीघ्रातिशीघ्र भव्य मंदिर में विराजित देखना चाहता है, इसलिए भारत सरकार से मार्गदर्शक मण्डल का आग्रह है कि संसद के मानसून सत्र में ही कानून बनाकर अयोध्या में श्रीराम जन्मभूमि के भव्य मंदिर निर्माण की सभी कानूनी बाधाएं दूर करें। यदि मार्गदर्शक मण्डल की यह मांग नहीं मानी गई तो हिन्दू समाज उग्र आन्दोलन करने को बाध्य होगा।

Sanskrit scholar Gajendra Panda is in that south Pacific island nation at the invitation of the Fiji Sevashram Sangha (FSS) to impart knowledge of the language, the Fiji Times reported Saturday.

Even as the classes are being held now at Labasa in Macuata province on the island of Vanua Levu, the earlier classes in Fiji’s capital Suva were well attended and the participants’ number had to be restricted to 55, according to Swamy Sanyukta Nanda of the FSS.

“The group (in Suva) was organised into two smaller ones, one session being run by his wife and one by Panda. Participants were of all age groups and from all walks of life such as academics, workers and retired senior teachers,” Swamy Nanda was quoted as saying.

“The way this course was run was easy to understand and it captured the participants’ interest and enthusiasm on the first day and they were compelled to take time every evening for classes.”

Established in 2000, FSS is an affiliated body of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha and operates two centres from Lautoka, Fiji’s second largest city on ths island of Viti Levu, and Suva, and the Hindu Milan Mandir at Labasa.

According to Swamy Nanda, the way this course was run was easy to understand.

Participants in the Suva classes agreed while admitting that they never imagined that they could speak a word of Sanskrit in their life.

After Labasa, the classes will be held at Lautoka June 3-10.

Ethnic Indians comprise 37 percent of Fiji’s total population of nearly 870,000.

Most of them are descendants of indentured labourers who were brought in from India between 1879 and 1916 to work in the country’s sugarcane plantations.

Coinciding with the 150th birth anniversary of great visionary of modern India Swami Vivekananda, this conference will be an apt tribute and a meaningful way to commemorate him as Swamiji had emphasized the importance of science and technology for the uplift of the masses.

Tech for Seva: ENVIRONMENT

Though the efforts are going on for positive social change and development at the grass root level with the intervention of effective scientific and technological tools, the desired impact is yet to arrive on ground. This reality can be attributed to a major disconnect between scientific-technological solution providers and scientific-technological solution seekers. The Tech for Seva aims at bridging this gap by providing a connecting platform for the solution providers and solution seekers.

There is also a need to creae a conducive, favorable ambience in the society in which the seekers will strive to pull the solutions and providers will understand the responsibility to push the solutions to the needy commoners.

Scientific and technological research and academic institutions- public and private both, corporate with CSR initiatives, and NGOs working as social change agents and individual solution sekers will be the main stakeholders of the conference.

This conference Tech for Seva provides an opportunity to scientific and technological fraternity to come forward and use their creative ability for social good and thus pay tributes to Swami Vivekananda who had inspired the late Jamshetji Tata to start first ever modern scientific institute – Indian Institute of Science (IIS) Bangalore for social welfare of masses.
