India Today, one of the reputed media of the country has mis-informed its readers that RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohanji Bhagwat will address in its reputed ‘India Today Conclave-2011’. In its website (http://conclave.intoday.in/conclave/conclave2011.php) it has mentioned the name of RSS Chief on March 19th event of Breakfast Session of India Today Conclave, where Mohanji Bhagwat will speak about “Kashmir: What next?” at 10am, along with Mirwaiz Omar Farooq, Chairman, All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

But Mohanji Bhagwat clearly ruled out the possibility of his participation in the event, in a short reply to Vishwa Samvada Kendra Karnataka. Details  as follows.

“This announcement is made by the conclave without my permission. I do not intend to speak there at all. Please apprise them of the situation and correct the mistake.”

INDIA TODAY CONCLAVE-2011

Dr ManMohan Vaidya writes letter to India Today Chief Aroon Purie:

Namaste Aroon ji.
It was brought to my notice that your site of India today Conclave 2011 has displayed Shri Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghachalak of RSS as speaker at the conclave on 19 th March,2011 break fast session.
I want to bring to your humble notice that no body from your office has either requested Shri Mohanji Bhagwat or taken his consent for this program. It is surprising that how can a reputed weekly like India Today can display as a speaker  the name of a person like Sarsanghachalak of RSS without his consent. I request you to look into this matter and immediately withdraw the name of Shri Mohanji Bhagwat from the list if speakers of India Today Conclave 2011.  I shall try to contact you on phone.
With regards, yours
Dr Manmohan Vaidya
