Nagpur: ‘Kesava Shatak’ a CD, containing melodious songs based on the life and times of the founder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Hedgewar has been released. The contents of the CD do not focus on contemplative thought alone, but has the inspiration to soak the entire nation in ‘Kesav Ras’,” said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanji Bhagwat, during the release of ‘Kesav Shatak’. The CD has been released by Sanskra Bharati, Jaipur.
Referring to Dr. Hedgewar as a mystic and elevated soul whose lexicon never included words like ‘I- mine’, Dr. Mohanji Bhagwat said all due respect and focus must be laid and emphasized on his collective thoughts and ideas. He lauded the constructive efforts of LakshmiNarayan Bhala ‘Animesh’, the poet and Sankalp Dalvi, the music composer in stringing together the words with music. The Sarsanghchalak commended the work for sustaining the ethos in its entirety.
“The time has arrived to materialize and put into effect, the cause for which Doctorji founded Sangh. For this, there is the collective need to imbibe the spirit of his teachings and messages. It is the moral duty of every citizen to keep vibrant, the spirit of a culture that its deep fledged roots in humanitarian cause and benevolence,” he said.
Dr. Mohanji Bhagwat reiterated that a Swayamsevak is self made, with self motivation being the stronghold by which Sangh marches forward. Being bound by duty, a Swayamsevak never remains inert in the wake of any situation that distorts the social fabric of the nation.
The President of the gathering and All India General Secretary of Sanskar Bharati, Pracharak Ganeshji Rodhe delivered the Presidential Address. He elaborated in length, the life and times of Dr. Hedgewar, and the aspirations of Sanskar Bharati.
Poet Lakshmi Narayan Bhala ‘Animesh’, who himself is a Pracharak gave an explanation pertaining to the background of ‘Kesava Shatak’. Incidentally, lakshmi Narayan Bhala is currently in charge of the वृत्तसेवा of Hindustan Samachar. Sanjay Pandit, eminent singer mesmerized the audience with his rendition of ‘Dekho Shubha Din Aaya’. The programme concluded with Yamini Upgade resonating ‘Vande Mataram’.
The programme was organized by Sanskar Bharati, Nagpur. President of the organization Kanchan Gadkari accorded a warm welcome to all guests who arrived for the function. Ashutosh Adoni was in charge of the सटिक एवं सुंदर of the programme.
