RSS expressed deep condolences on demise of Poojya Sri Kolya Ramananda Swamiji

Bengaluru May 23, 2016: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) expressed deep condolences on demise of Poojya Sri Ramaananda Swamiji of Kolya Matha near Mangaluru. Sri Ramaananda Swamiji, 66years, was suffering from short-time illness; passed away at 11.00am on Monday morning at Vinaya Hospital in Mangaluru.

Born in 1950, Swamiji hails from Maavinakatta near Badiadka of Kasaragodu District. Sri Ramaananda Swamiji completed his primary and secondary education at Sri Annapoorneshwari Highschool Agalpady, Kasaragod. Sri Ramaananda Swamiji took deeksha from Shiva Balayogi Swamiji

Sri Swamiji was closely associated with RSS and VHP of Mangaluru Vibhag for last 40 years. Swamiji actively participated in several public mega events like Hindu Samajotsava, several socio-religious agitations, religious awareness programs, activities to stop conversions and imbue the spirit of social harmony. He always endorsed Sangh Ideology and constantly supported RSS activities in Mangaluru Vibhag.

“ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೊಲ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ಇಹಲೋಕ ಯಾತ್ರೆ ಕಳೆದುದು ತಿಳಿದು ತು೦ಬಾ ದು:ಖವಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಭರಿಸಲಾಗದ ನಷ್ಟ. ಹಿ೦ದುತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮರಸತೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರದು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಆಗ್ರಹವಿತ್ತು. ಅವರ ಸ್ಮೃತಿಗೆ ನಮೋನಮ:”– ದತ್ತಾತ್ರೇಯ ಹೊಸಬಾಳೆ, ಆರೆಸ್ಸೆಸ್ ಸಹ-ಸರಕಾರ್ಯವಾಹ
