Shivaji Park, Mumbai November 18: With slogans reaching sky as Balasaheb Amar Rahe, nation payed its tribute to Balasaheb Thackeray at Shivaji Park in Mumbai this evening. Mortal remains of Bal Thackeray consigned to flames with full state honours. His son Uddhav Thackeray conducted the last rites.
Uddhav Thackeray, son of Balasaheb performed the last rites. His Cousin brother Raj Thackeray also accompanied Uddhav during the funeral.
Top Sangh Parivar leaders attended the funeral ceremony. Suresh Sony, RSS Sah sarakaryavah, VHP Chief Dr Pravin Togadia, LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitely, Nitin Gadkari, Sharad Pawar, Manohar Joshi, Bollywood actors Amithabh Bacchan, Sanjay Dutt, industrialist Anil Ambany and more than 3lakhs of well wishers attended the funeral.
