Mangalore: A major book in Kannada on Dr Ambedkar entitled SAMAAJIKA KRAANTI SOORYA, ‘ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ’ was released at Mangalore.
Sri Pejawar Seer Vishewshwara Theertha Swamiji, Analyst Dr GB Harish, Dr Abhay Kumar, Professor of Kannada at Mangalore University, Writer H Balakrishna Malya, RSS Pracharak Chandrashekara Bhandary were present on dias during the ceremony.
The book was originally written in Marathi By Veteran Social Leader RSS Pracharak Dattopanth Thengadi. Senior Kannada writer and RSS Pracharak Sri Chandrashekara Bhandary has translated the book to Kannada.
The book has 540 pages, costs Rs 400/- has many chapters on life sketch and contributions of Dr Ambedkar. The book also analysed various social issues of pre and post Independence scenarios during Ambedkar’s lifespan.
